In close collaboration with 20th Century Fox, all aspects of branding, illustration, lettering, font design, and marketing were created for this Mexican Day of the Dead-themed animated film.

In the process of designing an international campaign for a film with a release this expansive, a font was created so that all media in all countries would stay within the precisely designed confines of the rest of the marketing materials.


The font, known as “El Skeleto,” maintains a hand-drawn quality¬†while still being very clean and functional when paired up with the digitally rendered characters.
